Having Fun in the Hard

The best work is fun.  And I just wrapped up the most fun I've ever had on a production.  It was really a combination of the team of people, extra activities, and quality of the work.  We shot in Toronto and whenever there was downtime, we found fun ways to fill it.  Some of those included an afternoon riding roller coasters, go carting like mad, double lane bowling with the director, and flying on the trapeze.

It reminded me that life is as much fun as we make it.  And I plan to embrace that moving forward.

I travel into uncharted waters this week.  I left the company that's been a safe home for the last 4 years and set out as a freelancer.  The unknown can be scary, but it in my experience it's also awesome.   And I'm going to try to have fun in the unknown.

I think the end results of the 2 months, the spots themselves, are a great example of not taking life too seriously - even when it's hard.

Only thing better then the anticipation of the drop -  is the drop itself.

The lake we used as a beach.

My first catch and release.
