I'm not much for food blogs and don't usually take pictures of my meals, but maybe you'll indulge me this once...
Just another thing I love about living in this city is finding new restaurants around every corner.
On Sunday night, Shane and I happened to walk by a place with fried chicken on the menu. Well that was it for my southern husband, we'd stumbled on our next meal. They place is called The Three Hens and is on 28th and Lex. Yelp calls it new american food. I call it southern with vegan options! It's not an overwhelming menu, but they still have a range of options from healthy to southern comfort.
We also loved that the owners were working the floor. The woman was seating diners and the man was behind their cute mini bar. They were friendly and genuinely interested in their diners. It felt like a small town restaurant. Come visit us in NYC and we'll take you to The Three Hens!
